Terms
1. Nature of Service
You are engaging Packt Zero LLC for its knowledge, skill, and professional expertise. Fees reflect that expertise and are not strictly time-based. A problem resolved quickly through experience carries the same professional value as a longer engagement.
2. Remote Support Sessions
The remote support session fee is charged in full at the time of booking. It is non-refundable once the session has begun. If Packt Zero LLC determines at its sole discretion that the issue did not warrant the full fee, a partial or full courtesy refund may be issued. This is a discretionary accommodation, not an entitlement. (See 2a/b for more information)
3. Deposits
Deposits paid to confirm an estimate are non-refundable once work or parts sourcing has commenced. If work has not yet started, a refund may be issued at Packt Zero LLC's discretion.
4. Balance Due
Remaining balances are due upon job completion or device pickup. Devices and completed work will not be released until the balance is paid in full.
Initiating a chargeback after a service has been delivered, a session has taken place, or a deposit has been accepted constitutes a material breach of this agreement. Packt Zero LLC reserves the right to pursue recovery of disputed amounts and to report fraudulent chargebacks to the appropriate authorities.
6. Dispute Resolution — Mandatory Binding Arbitration
ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR ANY SERVICE PROVIDED BY PACKT ZERO LLC — INCLUDING BILLING DISPUTES — SHALL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION, NOT IN COURT.
- Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, which are available at adr.org.
- For disputes totaling $500 or less, arbitration will be conducted solely by written submission, with no in-person hearing required.
- The arbitration will take place in Broward County, Florida, or remotely by mutual agreement.
- Florida law governs this agreement and any dispute arising from it.
- You waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
- Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdictional limit.
By making a payment through this portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration as described above.

2a. Session Recording
All remote support sessions conducted by Packt Zero LLC are recorded using screen capture software for the protection of both parties. By booking and paying for a remote support session, you consent to this recording. Recordings are stored securely, retained for 90 days, and are not shared with any third party except as required by law or to resolve a billing dispute. You may request a copy of your session recording within the retention period by opening a support ticket.
2b. Scope of Remote Access
Remote access is granted solely for the purpose of diagnosing and resolving the issue described at booking. Packt Zero LLC will not access, open, copy, or transmit personal files, photos, documents, or accounts that are unrelated to the stated issue. You retain the ability to terminate the remote session at any time by closing the remote access software. Termination of the session does not entitle you to a refund if the session has already begun.
